About My Hobby
We are a husband and wife team from Beech Creek, PA. And just where is Beech Creek, PA?? Well we are about 30 minutes northeast of Penn State University and about 35 minutes southwest from Williamsport, PA (home of the Little League World Series).
Our name came from the fact that we are both NASCAR fans plus Josh (aka Tiny) says that we are Rednecks too. The "K" in Krew was my idea...just to keep with the whole "redneck" theme.
We started competing the summer of 2006. Up until that point, we had only seen competition BBQ on the Food Channel. So we decided to through caution to the wind and signed up the Cabela’s BBQ Challenge in Hamburg, PA that same year.
